1. 研究目的＝Purpose
本プロジェクトの目的は、多様なメディア表現とそれを支えるテクノロジーが、われわれの身近な、そして地球全体の政治・社会・文化のあり方をどのように規定しているかを明らかにすることである。具体的には、グローバル関係学、プルリバース論、マルティプル・コスモロジー論、人新世論、グローバルIRなどの最新の研究動向を踏まえつつ、身体知に根ざしたワークショップ、フィールドワークなど多様な手法で学際的かつ相互作用を重視した研究方法を採用する。グローバル・メディア・スタディーズの理論的・実践的基盤の構築に貢献する。
This project is designed to investigate how the diverse media expressions that continue to be generated around the world and the technologies that support them construct politics, society and culture in our daily individual life and the whole globe. Specifically, we will employ interdisciplinary and interaction-oriented research methods using a variety of methods such as workshops and fieldwork rooted in acquiring embodied knowledge, while taking into account the latest research trends in Relational Studies on Global Crises, studies of Pluriverse, Multiple Cosmologies, Anthropocene, and Global IR, etc. The project aims to contribute to the construction of the theoretical and practical foundations of global media studies.
